Lanzarote - Cueva de Los Verdes Pt 1: It is a part of a cave-system formed in the lava flow from the volcano Monte Corona around 3000 years ago. The lava at the top cooled down faster than the flow in the inside-so the caves were formed. At some parts the roof collapsed and left the so called Jameos (which sometimes have a fantastic acoustic). The Cueva de Los Verdes is only one short part which can be visited by tourists.
