Ash emissions from the partly collapsed summit craters, sometimes containing blocks. A spot on the Sciara at about 500 m elevation starting to emit white vapour and then bluish gas - the site of a new vent being born. The lava flow from the 400 m vent, after the pause of the eruption on 8 March, has intensified and its front is now at 200 m elevation. Bluish gas emitted from the new vent indicating the new lava flow. Zoom onto the new vent with the front of a very viscous lava flow. Coulds of vapour and dust whirled up from a line below the flow front, probably by a propagation of the fracture downhill. Marcu busy photographing the new lava flow. Two lava flows are now on the Sciara del Fuoco. The one from the 400 m vent in the foreground has reached the delta, the new one is at about 300 m elevation and glowing blocks tumble down from its front to the sea. Trails of glowing rockfalls. Glowing rocks falling into the sea, sometimes floating on the water for a few seconds.
